Safety and Exploration
Hello. My name is Danielle Jediny-Racies. I am a practicing licensed marriage and family therapist since 2005 providing care for people who live in Oregon, California, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Washington. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from San Francisco State University 2003 and my Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco in 2005.
My therapeutic approach is informed by attachment theory, humanistic and family systems theories, body-centered, and PACT or psychobiological approach to couple therapy. I provide a space for you to gain insight into yourself and how you wish to change your life.
I am a steady, engaging, compassionate, and attentive therapist.
The environment that I provide in my work with a client is one in which curiosity, compassion, self-discovery, and safety allows for you to see and care and about yourself in ways that were not available to you before starting therapy. I actively engage you in your goals and provide concrete guidance on how to achieve the goals you've set in therapy.
I believe that there is nothing wrong or broken with you. Therapy with me is a place to get curious about yourself, your relationships, and the potential for new experiences that the world around you can offer.
Thank you for taking the time to consider how I can support you. I look forward to speaking with you.
